How to make Palak Paneer? If you are a Punjabi Cuisine lover, then you can’t ignore Palak Paneer!!! When Paneer is combined with vegetables, it becomes the most tasty and delicious dish among all vegetarian Punjabi dishes. This mixture of Palak and Paneer is not only delicious, rather, it’s a superb mingle of texture, flavor and nutritious. Moreover the fried Paneer will add some extra flavor. Palak Paneer is the most popular Indian Paneer recipe along with Paneer butter masala & kadai Paneer. This dish goes well with Rotis, Naan & even zeera rice or Biryani rice !!!

Ingredients Required to make Palak Paneer?

·         Spinach                                   10 cups, chopped
·         Paneer                                     1 ½  cup, cut into 12 mm size
·         Garlic                                      4 cloves
·         Ginger                                     25 mm piece
·         Green Chilies                          2, finely chopped
·         Turmeric powder                     ½ tsp
·         Tomato Pulp                            ¾ cup
·         Garam Masala                         1 tsp
·         Fresh Cream                            2 tbsp
·         Salt to taste

Method to prepare Palak Paneer?

·         Soak spinach in a vessel full of boiling water for 2 – 3 minutes
·         Drain the hot water & fill with cold water and keep it aside for few minutes
·         Grind it to make smooth puree
·         Take a pan, pour oil and heat
·         Add chopped onions & stir fry on medium flame till they turn lucid / translucent
·         Now, add ginger, garlic, green chilies, turmeric powder, and cook for 1 – 2 minutes on medium flame
·         Add tomato pulp and sauté till the mixture leaves oil, while stirring continuously
·         Now add spinach puree & 2 tbsp of water. Stir well & cook on low flame for 2 minutes
·         Add Garam Masala, salt & fresh cream. Mix well
·         Add fried Paneer, mix gently & cook for more 1 – 2 minutes on medium flame
·         Serve hot!!
