How to cook Mutton Tahari Recipe: Mutton Tehari/ tehari are mixed versions of biryani, pulao or rice recipes. Tahari is usually a mixed rice recipe mixed with either mutton or vegetables. Tahari is normally served with curd or tomato chutney. Mutton Tahari is a rice delicacy cooked in tomatoes and mutton gravy.

Ingredients required to cook Mutton Tahari
Mutton 1 kgRice 1.5 kg
Onion 2, sliced
Oil 1 cup
Tomatoes 10, medium size, sliced
French Beans 250gm, chopped
Fresh Fenugeek 250 gm
Coriander leaves 2 bunch
Mint leaves 1 cup
Green Chili 1/2 cup
Lemon Juice 6 Tbsp
Ginger-Garlic paste 2 tsbp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder 1tsp
Red chili powder as required
Garam masala powder
Whole Garam Masala
Method to prepare Mutton Tahari
Clean and wash muttonTake a cooker, add and heat 3/4 cup of oil in it
Add whole garam masala and ginger - garlic paste. saute
Once it starts turning brown, add mutton t it
Next add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala powder and saute
Add chopped tomatoes and french beans to it, close the lid
Let it cook till 5 - 6 whistles
Meanwhile, heat water required to cook 1.5kg rice
Next take one vessel, heat remaining oil, add sliced oinion and fry till it turn golden brown
Now add ginger-garlic paste and salt. Saute well
Add rice to it and mix well. Now add mutton gravy to it and mix
Add required amount of hot water
Add chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice, fenugeek leaves, green chilies, garam masala powder and salt if required
Cook till water completely evaporates and simmer for 5 minutes
Your tasty, spicy authentic Mutton Tahari is ready to serve and eat
Serve it hot with curd for better taste
