How to prepare Custurd Ras Malai | Quick Dessert Recipe


A quick recipe of an Indian sweet dish , Rasmalai. It can be prepared within minutes. People are so fond of eating sweets and Rasmalai is one such popular dish. All you need to do is just prepare rasgullas, and sweet custard sauce and that’s it. Just mix them and enjoy eating. Let’s move to how to prepare Custurd Malai Recipe.

Ingredients required to make Custurd Ras Malai?

For Rasgulla

·         curdled milk                       1 cup
·         Maida                                 1 tsp
·         Oil                                      2 tsp
·         Egg                                    1
·         Sugar                                 1 cup
·         Water                                 2 cup
·         Baking powder                  1 tsp
·         Milk as required

For Custurd

·         Milk                                ½ ltr
·         Sugar                              4 – 5 tbsp
·         Vanilla custard powder  1½ tbsp
·         Khalakhand                    100 g
·         Almonds chopped as required
·         Pista chopped as required

What is the method to prepare Custurd Ras Malai?

For Rasgulla

·         Strain curdled milk well till it gets dried
·         Add sugar into water to prepare syrup. Cook till sugar dissolves. Keep it aside to cool down
·         Add maida, oil, baking powder, beaten egg and little milk in strained curdled milk
·         Knead it into soft dough. Make small round balls out of it
·         Add these balls into the sugar syrup and cook till they increase in size
·         Now remove the rasgullas from the syrup and place in other bowl

For Custurd Ras Malai:

·         Dissolve custard powder in ½ cup of cool milk
·         Add khalakand and sugar to rest of milk and cook till they are perfect mixed
·         Now add custard paste to the boiled milk
·         Cook it till it gets thick. Remove this custard sauce in serving dish
·         Now add prepared rasgullas to this custard sauce
·         Garnish it with chopped almonds and pista
·         Custard Ras Malai is ready, refrigerate it for some time and serve
