Ingredients Required to make Chicken Pulao?
·
Oil 3 tbsp
·
Chicken 3 leg pairs
·
Onion 4
·
Green chilli 1, chopped
·
Garlic few
cloves, chopped
·
Basmati rice 250 gm
·
Tomato 2, chopped
·
Coriander chopped
leaves
·
Water 4
cups
·
Cardamom 2
·
Cloves 6
·
Bay leaves 1
·
Cinnamon 4
·
Ginger garlic 1 tbsp,
paste
·
Salt to taste
·
Red chilli 1tbsp, or
as required
·
Turmeric ½ tsp
Method to prepare Chicken Pulao?
·
Soak rice for 30 minutes. Soaking helps rice to cook early
and easily
·
Wash and clean chicken well
·
Let’s start with preparing aqni for Chicken pulao
·
Chop the 3 onion in fine slices
·
Pour ghee & oil in frying pan, fry onion until golden
brown. Crush fried onion
·
Add crushed onion, curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli,
green chilli, garam masala powder, haldi (turmeric), salt, mint leaves, lemon
and coriander to mutton and marinate for 1 hour
·
Now chop remaining 1 onion and sauté till they turn golden
·
Now add chopped tomatoes and chopped garlic and sauté till
oil gets separated from mixture
·
Now add the marinated chicken and cook for few minutes or
till oil gets separated
·
Now add 2 cups of water and bring it to boil
·
Add soaked rice to it and cook for 15 minutes or till the
rice is cooked
·
Your tasty and spicy chicken pulao is ready to serve
·
All this cooking should be done on medium or low flame
