Milk Gulab Jamun is traditional and is tasty Indian dessert recipe. These syrupy sweet is prepared with Maida and Khoa and is one of best dessert recipes for kids. Small Maida - Khoa dough balls deep fried in Ghee then dipped in thick sugar syrup gives authentic royal taste. This simple sweet food recipe is very popular in South Asian countries especially in India. Gulab Jamun is very easy recipe and can be prepared in max 30 minutes.

Ingredients Required to make Gulab Jamun?

·         All Purpose Flour (Maida)             ½ cup
·         Butter (Ghee)                                   ½ cup
·         Almonds                                              ½ cup, soak in water for 30 min
·         Baking Soda                                        1 tsp
·         Sugar                                                     3 cups
·         Water                                                   2 cups
·         Cardamom powder                         1 tsp
·         Milk                                                       1 liter
·         Rose Essence                                     1 tsp
·         Ghee/Oil for deep frying

Method to prepare Milk Gulab Jamun?

·         Peel off soaked almonds and grind them to paste
·         Mix almond paste, all purpose flour (maida), ghee and soda. Add some water and knead to make soft batter. Keep aside for an hour
·         Meanwhile, take a vessel and add sugar, cardamom powder & water. Simmer it till sugar dissolves. Transfer half syrup into another vessel
·         Prepare small sized round balls Jamuns of the batter
·         Heat oil in a frying pan, reduce flame to medium and add these balls to the frying pan and fry them till golden brown
·         Add them to one sugar syrup vessel
·         Now cook milk till it reduces to half and thickens
·         Add this milk to remain half sugar syrup and simmer for 2 minutes
·         Pour this milk syrup to the Jamun
·         That’s it. Your tasty Milk Gulab Jamuns are ready

·         Serve hot!!
