Try this Dahi ki Kadhi or Kadi Pakoda dish . This curry is prepared with gram flour (besan) and curd. It gives a more fantastic taste if yogurt has a sharp-tasting taste and best goes with plain rice and roti.

Ingredients Required to make Dahi ki Kadhi?

·         Yogurt                                           1 kg, tart
·         Besan (Gram Flour)                       ½ kg
·         Onion                                             1, small sized, finely chopped
·         Carainder (Dhania)                        2 tsp, powder
·         Zeera powder                                 2 tsp
·         Zeera                                              1 tsp
·         Ginger – garlic                               1 tbsp paste
·         Green chili                                     4
·         Red chili                                        6
·         Oil as required
·         Salt to taste
·         Turmeric                                       1 tsp, powder
·         Red chili powder                          1 tsp
·         Coriander leaves                           1 bunch, chopped

Method to prepare Kadhi Pakoda Curry?

·         Grind chopped onion
·         Blend the yogurt, and add salt, 1 cup besan (gram flour), red chili powder, coriander powder & turmeric powder. Mix well
·         Add 2 liter of water to this mixture and mix well
·         Take a large bowl and pour this yogurt mixture in to it over a wide tea net to trap all loose mixture.
·         Now add ginger – garlic paste and zeera powder to the mixture in bowl and cook on high flame with continuous stirring till it starts boiling
·         Add onion paste, reduce the flame and cook till the curry gets slightly thickened
·         When curry is thick enough, or reached your desired consistency, put off the flame
·         Meanwhile prepare pakodas with remaining gram flour. Add these fried pakodas to curry
·         Take a frying pan, heat 1 cup oil. Add zeera and red chili to it. Let them splutter
·         Add this to the curry.
·         Serve with chapatti or plain rice
